Confinement Synthesis of Metal Chalcogenide Quantum Dots within a Porous Organic Cage

We report the first successful encapsulation of metal chalcogenide nanocrystals within the largest purely organic cage to date, comprising of twelve highly light absorbing porphyrin units.
