Despite widespread interest in the phase-change applications of vanadium dioxide (VO\(_2\)), the fabrication of high-quality VO\(_2\) thin films with elevated transition temperatures (TIMT) and high Insulator-Metal-Transition resistance switching still remains a challenge.
